If you are planning work in and around a waterway on your property, such as building a crossing, we have made it even easier for you to check if that is a designated waterway. If it is a designated waterway you will need to apply for a free Works on Waterways permit.

STEP 1: Go to our Works on Waterways page and use the interactive map.

STEP 2: If it is a designated waterway, submit your application for a free permit.
