Victorian Coordinator Integrated Water Management (IWM)

Location: Regional location to suit the successful person (Horsham, Colac or Geelong)
Contract Type: Full time or 0.8 FTE, 4 year fixed term contract

Wimmera CMA and Corangamite CMA are Victorian Government statutory authorities whose role is to work with and support natural resource management agencies, Traditional Owners and local communities to improve sustainable land use, biodiversity and water resources management.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced coordinator to provide peer-based leadership that supports the role of CMA’s to participate in regional IWM planning and delivering IWM projects across Victoria.

In this role you will support regional CMAs to deliver on their IWM obligations and to play a stronger, more consistent role in IWM planning and implementation across the state. You will maximise the impact of the CMA IWM Officer roles by driving cross-regional collaboration on shared priorities, promoting consistency, and shared learning, as well as assisting to enhance clarity of current and future CMA IWM roles and responsibilities.

• Lead and coordinate the CMA IWM Officer Network
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, joint initiatives, and cross-regional collaboration
• Promote consistent IWM delivery while respecting regional contexts
• Support onboarding, mentoring, and capability-building
• Act as a liaison between CMAs and DEECA’s IWM Program.
