Outcomes Selector for the Wimmera Regional Catchment Strategy

The Wimmera Regional Catchment Strategy sets the long-term vision for integrated catchment management in the Wimmera and is based around four Themes and five Local Areas. The strategy includes the region’s desired outcomes for each Theme and Local Area to be achieved over 6 years and 20 or more years.

Wimmera CMA is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the region’s progress implementing the strategy and achieving the desired outcomes. You can assist by providing information about your organisation’s natural resource management and integrated catchment management projects and activities. This “Outcomes Selector” tool is designed to assist with identifying which of the strategy’s outcomes your organisation’s activities contribute to.

Each project or activity will contribute to Outcomes for both Themes and Local Areas. They may also contribute to multiple Themes or multiple Local Areas. Please select all of the Outcomes that apply to your project. For example, a community planting event along the Wimmera River near Dimboola may contribute to Outcomes under the Rivers and Streams Theme, Community Theme (related to stewardship), Biodiversity Theme and Hindmarsh Local Area. Outcomes from each of these Themes and Local Areas should be explored.
