Boosting Livestock Performance with eID Webinar

Free Webinar with Elise Bowen

Wimmera CMA and Glenelg Hopkins CMA invite farmers across Victoria to a free webinar designed to help them unlock the full potential of electronic identification (eID) technology in sheep production.

“Boosting Livestock Performance with eID” will be held on Friday, 7 November 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and is open to all sheep producers—whether just starting with eID or looking to refine their data strategy.

Hosted by Elise Bowen, founder of Sheep Data Management and a respected expert in sheep production, the session will focus on the practical implementation of eID data to improve flock productivity and reduce methane emissions.

“eID allows farmers to track individual animal performance with precision,” says Elise. “By using this data effectively, producers can make informed decisions that lead to better productivity and environmental outcomes.”

Topics include

  • Key benefits of adopting eID technology
  • Practical tips for effective data management
  • Aligning data collection with farm goals
  • Building a tailored data calendar
  • Turning raw data into actionable insights
