Statewide Integrated Water Management (IWM) Coordinator

Location: Horsham
Salary: $93,581 p.a.
Contract Type: 2 year fixed term, 0.8 to full-time position
We are seeking a seeking a motivated and experienced coordinator to join its vibrant and modern workplace.
The purpose of the Statewide IWM Coordinator position is to provide a peer-based leadership role that supports CMA-led IWM delivery across Victoria.
This leadership role supports the coordination and capacity-building of Catchment Management Authority (CMA) IWM Officers across Victoria. The Coordinator will drive collaboration, consistency, and strategic alignment in integrated water management practices statewide.
IWM is a holistic and collaborative approach to the way we plan for and manage all elements of the water cycle. IWM considers how the delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater services can contribute to water security, public and environmental health and urban amenity. It fundamentally shifts the way water, land use planning and urban development opportunities are understood and undertaken in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the CMA IWM Officer Network
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, joint initiatives, and cross-regional collaboration
- Promote consistent IWM delivery while respecting regional contexts
- Support onboarding, mentoring, and capability-building
- Act as a liaison between CMAs and DEECA’s IWM Program.
